Jon Ketil qualified as a Solicitor in 1983, having passed the bar exam in 1981 at the University of Oslo. In 2007, he established his own law firm - Advokatene Gjørtz & Co - where he currently practices with six other Lawyers. Major fields are commercial and company law. Besides that he holds Board memberships in many local and regional boards. He was the entrepreneur and establisher of Aalesund Football AS in 1994 and held Chairmanship of the Board until 2008.
Paul joined the credit industry in 1984 working for Yellow Pages. In 1985 he was promoted to Customer Credit Manager responsible for the end to end credit management processes within the business including major accounts which represented 80% of Yell.com's receivables. Paul successfully completed the postgraduate diploma in management studies (DMS) specialising in finance and human resources. He then went on to complete his Masters in Business Administration Degree (MBA), at the British Ivy School League Management Institute, at The Henley Management College. He gained entry to the roll of the British Chartered Institute of Management in 1986. In the same year, Paul joined CIMA, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, as a master course trainer, delivering specialised training courses to Finance Directors and Senior Managers within business.
In 1990 Paul joined British Telecom PLC as Senior Credit Manager where he managed 250 staff and had responsibility for £1.3 billion pounds of BT’s receivables. Paul left BT after four years and set up his own consultancy servicing the debt recovery industry, working with debt collection agencies on policies, processes, procedures and training. He set up Experto Credite Partnership (ECP) in 1997 and acted as Senior Partner until 2008. He is a member of the Institute of Credit Management and the Institute of Directors.
Staale has more than 20 years experience in the European consumer credit industry, focusing on debt collection and purchasing pools of distressed consumer loans and credit cards. Since 1995 he has established and acquired several companies specialising in debt purchase in Scandinavia, the UK and the European mainland. He has an extensive network within consumer credit grantors and the collection industry throughout Europe.
In 1997 he was the co-founder of Aktiv Kapital ASA, which is listed on the Oslo Stock exchange and is one of the three largest debt purchasers in Europe. The company has offices in 11 European countries plus Canada. In many of these countries Aktiv Kapital was the first company to buy distressed consumer debts. Staale held the position of Director of Business Development and was also a member of the Board of Directors from 2001 until he left the company in 2006.
From June 2006 Staale held the position of Executive Director at Morgan Stanley where he has been part of the Securitised Product Group. He has been European head of the Principal Investment Group and has been investing in distressed debt portfolios in a number of European countries.
Stefan has been in the debt collection industry in excess of 13 years and is experienced in all aspects of credit management having sold tracing services, collection services and outsourced solutions.
In 1995 Stefan was quickly promoted to the position of Sales Manager at Financial Trace & Collections (now known as Capquest) after just over a year. From there, Stefan was approached by Ruthbridge and headed up their sales team, holding the position of Sales & Marketing Manager for 7 years. During this time the business doubled in size. In 2004, Stefan became Sales & Marketing Manager with a small collections company called CCM and after 2 years was head hunted by Experto Credite with the offer of heading the Sales & Marketing department.
Stefan has excelled in this role by bringing in our largest Clients to date and growing Experto Credite’s reputation within the credit industry. In 2008 Stefan became a shareholder and Director with the company.
